Curvine Donates Web sites to Non-Profits

June 6th, 2005 (Bellevue, WA) - Curvine Web Solutions, a Web Development firm located in Bellevue, WA, is announcing the winners of its Non-Profit Promotion. The contest, which ran from May 26th to June 4th, allowed Non-profit organizations to register for a drawing for one of three Web sites to be donated.

"It is important for every business to 'give back' to the community whenever possible," said Jason Shindler, founder and CEO of Curvine Web Solutions. The Web site donations are worth up to $3,900, and include a original design by a graphic designer and professionally edited content.

The first winning non-profit is the Northwest Environmental Education Council. Based in Seattle, it aims to provide opportunities for environmental education and training to youth, environmental professionals, and the general public. It holds public workshops, seminars and lectures on environmental topics.

The West Seattle Food bank was another winner in the promotion. It aims to eliminate hunger in West Seattle. It also partners with other organizations to provide affordable housing in the West Seattle area. The new Web site will be part of the Food Bank's new effort to extend its reach.

The final winning organization is the Evergreen Soccer Academy. Based in Mill Creek, WA, it holds Soccer leagues in Snohomish County, and has operated there for 25 years. They sponsor select soccer teams for both girls and boys from ages U-11 through U-18. They also host the one of only three silver-rated tournament in Washington: the 18-year-old Evergreen International Tournament.

The promotion attracted 25 applications from all parts of the Greater Seattle area. "Each of these organizations is a worthy cause. We're glad that we had so much participation in the promotion," Mr. Shindler said.
