Curvine launches new West Seattle Food Bank site

October 20th, 2005 (Bellevue, WA) - Curvine Web Solutions, a Web development firm located in Bellevue, WA, recently launched a new Web site for the West Seattle Food Bank. The site, located at http://www.westseattlefoodbank.org, features updated information about the organization and a way to accept donations over the Internet.

The West Seattle Food Bank helps eliminate hunger in its neighborhood. The bank helped more than 3,400 families with groceries and other food supplies. The Web site serves as a way of soliciting donations and assistance from the community, and gives general information about the bank's mission and operations. The food bank recently broke ground on a new facility which will allow them to expand their operations, and the Web site will help inform people about the new programs. "It will be pivotal in informing the community about our new facility and the new programs and events that our new space will allow," said Karen Lezon, West Seattle Food Bank Vice President.

The site is part of Curvine Web Solutions effort to help non-profit organizations better present themselves on the Internet. Curvine donated Web development services to 3 non-profit organizations located in the Greater Seattle metropolitan area. The Web site donation included a fresh Web site design, updated content and consultations, worth approximately $1,200.
