Web Functionality for Software Company

Essential Security Software (ESS), a company offering email and document security protection software, has hired Curvine Web Solutions to design templates and user interfaces to allow key employees access to the design and content management of its website.

Led by Jason Shindler, Curvine will design templates that will allow 4 or 5 key ESS employees to update sections of the website with news, flash presentations, white papers, events, announcements, press releases, and more. They will also be able to edit existing content and layout using a Microsoft Word-like interface. Curvine’s design will enable anyone within their organization to make changes and additions to the site, regardless of their HTML knowledge.

Essential Security Software (ESS) offers a simplified email encryption and rights management service that prevents data theft and the misuse of online information. Visitors to its website can download free software to try the service before they purchase.

"We have to educate our small business customers on why they need our product, as it is an emerging technology," says Nan Schwarz, director of Corporate Marketing. "Creating a dynamic site will maintain the active interest of frequent visitors and move them from consideration to trying it, and it will engage existing customers with new information."
