This is a FULL-TIME PERMANENT POSITION in the Bellevue area. No contract or freelance applicants, please.

Do you have the design skills to deliver eye-catching graphics for the Web? Are you ready to take your skills and thinking to the next level? Curvine Web Solutions is a small Bellevue-based Web site development firm that is looking for an energetic, passionate designer to complement our team.

As a Curvine Web Solutions designer, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our in house Project Manager and HTML producer to create compelling Web sites and Web-based applications. You should not only be well-versed in design and usability concepts, but bring a creative passion and the ability to look at things from a fresh perspective. Your ability to interact with others and function as part of a team will also be key to this position.

Core Job Responsibilities:
•As part of the development team, be responsible for the graphical appearance of Web sites we produce, including overall look, feel and usability.
•Work with our programmers to give our Web-based applications a professional look and feel that also makes the application easy to use.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
•Bachelors Degree in graphic arts or related field, plus at least two years of professional experience, or equivalent work
•Two+ years of Web design experience. A portfolio link must be provided.
•Advanced knowledge of Photoshop CS3 and Illustrator CS3 is required.

Favorable Qualifications:
•Flash design/development skills are a big plus.
•Experience creating Web sites in Dreamweaver a plus.
•HTML/XML and web programming skills are a plus.
